|  The Mountains Region is the coldest area around. The mountains are located near the taiga forest and lake. The view from the mountains stretches far, even overlooking the city which is very far away.
Despite being covered by trees and deep snow, the wind is the most powerful in this area. Because of wind chill and the extreme heights, the temperature deviates -20 degrees from the average temperature at sea level. This area is not for shorthairs in the winter.
Prey here is plentiful, and it seems to be easier to catch, despite the steep terrain.
